The Fat Clerk & the Porsche

Well done to The Fat Clerk for winning a Porsche 911 on 5th Gear. I hear from Dave he has yet to recieve it. Will we be seeing this as a course car in the coming season ???

I`m sure there must be a few jokes regarding Shoe horns and the like.

I'm just waiting to see who gets down the stairs first at the 750 meets during Red Flags, Viv or Dave. Woe betide anyone coming UP the stairs, they'll never know what hit them!

Does that mean if we smile nicely at him, he might bring it to the Cadwell track day for some of us to try out!

I wonder if a Porsche 911 is bigger than a 2CV.

Strewth, that's going to be better than the thing that he followed the Birkett with. Might even make up a few places.

Blimey! Do they know he'll need a convertible? Mind you, if they send an ordinary one the Rescue teams will soon have the roof off for him!

The plan @ present, is to sell the 911 (sensible offers please) & then buy something that can be raced, sprinted & occasionally driven on the road. Something along the lines of a 75)MC Locost or Kit Car.

Go for the Kit Car Dave I dont`t think the power to weight ratio of a Locost would be sufficient (with driver aboard)!!!!
