The Jordan Village @ Silverstone
Hi Guys,
Just want to know if any of you lot made it there this year, and if so what did you think? I was actually in there working, and whilst it was really long day (up for 8am, finish by 1am, usually....), I really enjoyed it. Also, hopefully I didn't nark too many of the fans off handing out flyers, and selling raffle tickets around the circuit too Regards Ed Last edited by Try Hard; 12 Jul 2004 at 14:22. |

I went. Pretty cool. Got a cap signed by Pantano and Glock. Whole roast pig on a spit. Beer and music. Not bad at all.

we made it across to the village on sunday night, was pretty quiet by then. We had a look at the tent selling broken jordan parts(a large percentage of which seemed te be attributed to Firman....) also saw the simulator where you get to sit in the Jordan car. Stopped in for a couple of bottles of the jordan drink "V10" which was quite pleasant. We were then nearly run over by Pantano and Heidfeld on a moped on the way out!

AlesiUK, you didn't so happen to be with the lass decked out in ferrari gear? who I let into the queue at the end of the signing session? And for anyone else who was there on Sunday for the last driver autograph sessions, yes it was this Ed who had to stop the queue. I was wearing the black Jordan top, and walked off with a nosecone.... Perk of the Job shall we say.

Yes I went to the Jordan village, and was shocked at the large number of pikeys in the carnival, thankfully the Jordan village had fewer pikeys (presumably something to do with the £3 entry fee)

pffffft,as if id be seen with any gorl wearing ferrari gear!(well unless she was like, hot or something ) i didnt see timo and giorgio stop, they just whizzed about on the scooters, stopped at the bar then whizzed off. It was pretty late by the time we got there i think, wasnt very busy. Good show from Jordan tho, works for everyone. Fans love it and Jordan make a buck or two. |
