That has to be one of the best looking motor cars of all time - well done for finding it chaps .
Imagine Le Mans with 30 2 car teams of evenly matched GT cars from all the worlds car makers to this sort of quality , probably never happen , but it would be good. |

Looks good, what class is it due to run it, the release calls it a GT, but I thought it was going to be GTS.
The 3 teams talked about, sounds like they already have them lined up, or are they just being hopeful. |

With this being a GT car does this mean that a road version of this car has to be built??

It's a LM GTS / FIA GT (or actually a GT1 next year) and the road version is already built (the DB9)

I thought that it was going to be a LM GT but I must be wrong.

so it sounds like a partial program in 2005 then a full program with 3 works teams in 2006? i assume prodrive themselves will run the car in 2005 then?

Lets face it - any Aston was going to look pretty good if it was anounced as a LM contender. I think it looks very tasty though, but wonder whether the pictures are deceptive. It looks like it has a very short wheelbase and has almost too much front and not enough back... if you know what I mean.

It's a beautifull car, not as beautifull as the original road car but then I don't like to see wings and spoilers in road cars
I think it is a FIA GT, LM GTS car (future GT1). The version we will see take it to the track will probably have some different details, as this seems to be a showroom model. |

What, you mean the five stud road wheels and large wing mirrors?
This is a mock up, maybe of the 'road a like' version for the richer max power owner. The racer will look a bit different, and I guess that does depend on what class the car race's in. |

Based on one press release error, people are still confused about this car. It goes to show you the damage one error can cause.
It is a FIA GT, and ACO GTS car. The N-GT/GT press release was an error, and corrected quite the time ago. |

Yes I think it is a bit touched up or modified in places, the reflections in the paint work are'nt that good.

It is photoshopped, I think from a standard DB9, lowered and bits added.
Too bad they couldn't photoshop in the right colour. |

So we are likely to have works backed, 2 car teams in FIA GT, LMES and ALMS. Plus a limited amount of 'customer'cars made available.
Sounds good. |
