i am just about to get a pc and i am looking for a good game, any recomendations?

GTR, GPL, Live for Speed.

GTR - Yes, it has bugs, but it, along with GPL are the 2 best racing sims out there

GPL - Well...immense

LFS - Cheap, brilliant game and Community


Can't really reccomend anything else except Guild Wars, which is great

Something with cars....... or bikes.

I have three PC games I can post to you. they don't work on my PC for some funny reason. I've got NASCAR Racing 3, ANDRETTI Racing and MotoGP UGP2.

You can have them if you want, I don't want any money for them.

F1 Challenge - tons of great mods. Sports cars, F1-modern and recent history, Champ Car, V8 Supercars, WTCC etc...etc...

GTR - terrific evolution of the ISI engine.

GPL - the original racing sim.

Nascar 2003 - actually gave me a greater appreciation for this form of racing.

Richard Burn's Rally - the GPL of rally sims. Actually the only rally sim. Everything else is just a game.

rFactor looks to be the next great one. Anxiously waiting it's release.

A torrential afternoon practice session in Watkins Glen saw Villeneuve out-qualify everyone. By 11 seconds.Scheckter stated: "I scared myself rigid that day, I thought I had to be quickest. Then I saw Gilles's time and - I still don't really understand how it was possible. Eleven seconds !"

I have GPL but for some reason it doesn't work. Loads up to the preview screen and then does a de Cesaris. Seems to bea video problem.
