chances of getting these cars in Oz
I may have asked about some of these cars before, but anyway, what would be the chances of being able to find some of these cars in Australia, second hand of course:
- early 80s Audi Quattro - Opel Manta 400/ Ascona 400 (i won't hold my breath) - Vauxhall / Chevrolet Chevette - Mark 2 Ford Escort RS1800 - Triumph TR7 V8 - Fiat 131 Abarth I just watched the video Greatest Years of rallying - 1970s & 1980s, and now absolutly love the Group 4 cars, plus the RWD GpB |

I have not seen any Manta/Ascona Chevette is a Gemini with a different front! I have seen an RS1800 I have beaten a TR7 V8 in a rallysprint. There were a few 131 Arbarths in OZ |

I've seen a RS 1800
I have beaten a TR7 V8 off the lights on a lightly modded Big Twin Harley. Yeah, Ok Ok. |

I saw the ex-Colin Bond Mk II RS1800 compete at the Leyburn Historic sprints. A member of the HRCC regularly sprints his TR7 V8, quiet spectacularly, i might add.
