Trevor should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
"Pretty Roar V8 Experience" at Winton

You can get a ride in a Holden V8 race car at Winton Raceway with Nathan Pretty.
Quote:
The Pretty Roar V8 Experience Commodore is powered by a 6.0 litre LS2 V8 engine topped with a PWR Supercharger, the engine producing a V8 Supercar-like 450kW and 650Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in approximately four seconds.

These things are great. One of the mags I write for stuck me in a V8 Supercar with Paul Radisich a few months ago, and I had a great time. Even for someone like me, who makes a crap passenger, it was good fun.

Yes, did the Gulf Western Oils one at Oran Park earlier in the month. Great fun!

I think this is the one that Uncle Cranker gave a few hints about a month or more a go.

Edit: ah, yes here it is, posted October 19th:

I'm led to believe that there will be a couple of 2 (possibily 3 ?) seater V8 taxi look-alikes, and a smaller shopping jeep type race-car too. (a former championship winning car no less).

The steerers are part of the Factory stable, with one being quite attractive, and the other one, well my only hint for him is a bit cryptic, but i'll run with it anyway:
"The perfumed steamroller" could have ended up as an in-law.

So here is the Cranker Challenge: first correct answer gets basically nothing..........

Name the drivers: ?

Name the Circuit: ?

Who is building the cars: ?

What is special about where they will be housed: ?

Why did a current V8 SC team owner decline the offer to build the Taxis: ?

Name him: ?

Here are some answers,

Nathan Pretty (attractive, well the girls all say so ) & yet to be announced, Cam McConville ( how is Angela these days ?) (both from the SCAR/PWR stable.....)

Winton

The Monaro Shop.

I'm led to believe the 'shed' is to be decked out to replicate a V8 SC pit garage....

Garry Rogers.

Because when asked to build them by John Stevenson, he was building his own pay-per-ride cars,
He was allegedly put out at the fact that what Holden Motorsport (sorry, PRETTY ROAR V8 Experience........) was doing, was taking potential business off it's teams.......

Not sure where the former championship winning Astra is these days, but it is alleged to be in the stable, although not to be driven by the former champion........
