Sonic and the Fujitsu Series
AA today has an ad indicating the ex T8 chassis run by Bryce Washington is available for use in upcoming Fujitsu races.
What's the story? Has there been a parting of the ways? Surely Bryce hasn't run out of budget... |

Maybe this eludes to something I've mentioned in the Fujitsu '09 thread about the cost of running (more to the point...crashing) these level 1 hand-me-downs with their megabucks bespoke components.
IIRC, Bryce (not all through his own fault) has had a fair amount of damage in only a few races. If you consider a 888 front corner crash can run upto around $30K (upright, arms, duct, damper, roll bar, steering rack, brakes, complete with splitter), then it doesn't take too many hits to wipe out a DEV series budget...if any of this actually happened. |
