It looks pretty good, I shall be there. Sports 2000 was fun at Brands last year!

Cool. What sort of crowd do you usually get at these events? Because I'm working the night before, so I may leave a little later than I did for the BTCC, where they were almost queuing on the dual carriageway sliproad...

I wouldn't worry about queues to get in. A normal BRSCC meeting doesn't have the BTCC crowds!! I will be there in a marshalling capacity on Saturday and I think we are on the straight.

I'm looking forward to it, club racing is good fun. I've found most of the competitors are very happy to chat to you about their cars and things, and you are free to go where you like. |

i do think you would have a problem getting in the circuit for a brssc meeting the last one i had a gate of i estimate less than 500/600 people, bearing mind the 90/100 competitors all of whom have 4 tickets could have bought 400 people,it was a mind numbing event, i left after a few hours to go to tescos in thetford and did my weeks shopping. if go enjoy but i think i can find better things to do. some of these meetings are past saving

Cheers for that Vaughan....
Have you ever watched a Mighty Mini Race??? Regular cornering 3-4 abreast.. Constant position swapping... Hard competitive racing.... But then again you could say that I'm biased.. |

I've seen them before, great fun. Saw a mini race at Snet a few months ago, they were rounding Coram 3/4 abreast every lap, and everyone knew it was only a matter of time before there was a coming together at Russell. And we weren't disappointed!

Indeed... There were quite a few 'incidents' that weekend... It was my first time driving there too.. Love it..
I looking forward to this one. Another 2 top ten finishes would be a nice finish to what is my first season in any form of motorsport. If any of you are there then pop over and say hello.. Pictures of the car are on http:www.TurtyTree.co.uk U can't miss it. Just look out for the shamrocks.. LOL |

Great racing today, I had a really good time! Better than a lot of "big name" series... don't think there was a single boring race.

Indeed.. It was certainly an 'eventful' weekend..
My running Race 1 with my HandBrake partially engaged didn't do me any favours though... I managed to qualify 5th and then slipped to 9th in the race.. Sorted it for Race 2 the next day but lost the 'tow' onto the finish straight on lap 1 and that was end of race.. Had to muddle along on my own for the duration and finished 8th.. Bit of an anti-climax for my weekend but I think I have finished 12th overall in the championship which is not bad for my first year. |
