Most of them only did three or four laps in the first session.

I don't doubt Ferrari's pace over a lap. They definitely have it. Ferrari don't just forget how to make a fast car overnight.
The main concern is how the new Ferrari work those tyres. Are the tyres reliable and quick enough consistently? Is the car easy on the tires...? Can they produce the level of performance over a race distance? If they can, they have a winner. |

This may only be practice but it seems the BARs have got their aero problems resolved.

Well yes but comparing the times from early in the session I get the impression that with fuel the gaps will be bigger.
Button was doing 23's when Sato was popping low 22's then at the end Button pops that 20 and so do others. So I suspect they were out evaluating fuel levels this morning however the gaps were larger throughout until the end. |

BAR have a very good chance of getting pole and even the race win.
I think button will get pole and then win the race. I think Sato may finish enything from 2nd-5th |
