Sad to se Solvalla dropped, even if it was a shitty track it was great to have an event in Stockholm. And no replacement for it means only 6 events, thats a far cry from when the series was on top.

A sorry state, but better than nothing.

Thank goodness the reverse grid is back. Much needed.

Mattias Andersson will be on the podium once again...

I liked that the championship didn't have reverse grids before. You had to earn your way onto the podium. Now they've just gone for the same old unfair qualifying format as everyone else. When are people going to ditch that system? Think of something new.

Sorry, who else runs this qualifying format?

Exactly my point. Did.

"unfair qualifying format as everyone else" - The STCC is currently alone in running this format.

WTCR will still use that format for races 2 & 3 of each weekend. TCR Germany uses a similar format as well. Even STCC last year had a system where half the field had their position for three races decided by one lap time, but at least the fastest cars started at the front.

Hopefully she manages to find some pace then. I was a little bit disappointed of her performance this year. Surely she is not the best driver out there, but she did well in Scirocco R Cup and proved that she knows how to overtake.
