Kaditcha and Bap Romano
Hi, does anyone have any photos of Bap Romano's Kadicha Cosworth Sports car from the 80's? Does anyone know what became of it?

made up my mind, I remember I read somewhere that the car was badly crashed, to the point the chassis was useless, possibly Romano suffered injuries from that accident...

Yes it was a very big crash, at Amaroo Park, came over the hill into the loop and the throttle stuck open, straight into the dirt bank. Bap received very serious injuries, the car was totalled. Bap had Barry Lock build a new chassis and last time I was in their workshop (2001) all the parts were there ready for reconstruction. Havent heard of it since.

Would be great to see this car re-appear at historic meetings. I believe that Veskanda still exists too?

Cosworth-engined sportscars always sounded good, didn't they?
With the Veskanda-Chevy over in Europe for some historic Group C races this year, it would be nice to see the Romano/Kaditcha make the trip at some point as well. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rosco500/5997912710/ Sandown WEC 1984: http://www.motorsportretro.com/wp-co...4-Cosworth.jpg |
