Redbull RB1 on web today.

The Redbull RB1 will be on the teams official site later today the 7th Feb. Go to www.redbullracing.com and go to the car section where it gives you the details. I don't know if it's a launch as such but just the new car in the interim livery. I wonder whether it's much different to the R5 Jag?? I hope so.

Looking forward to this - a solid, tidy car with good reliability could pay dividends in the early part of the season.

The RB1 car is up - new livery - doesn't look like a Red Bull can anymore!

Is the picture (with the dark blue Livery) the RB1?

If so...it looks very conservative. The sidepod looks aged when compared to other rivals...and the livery looks ugly

Nope, it looks like the new car with the new livery...
Looks like a mix between the Sauber from 1994 and 1996, sans the Petronas branding ofcourse...

I liked the previous one better though...

the wings look pretty dull with no sponsors on there... Will look a bit better when they have the rest of the stickers on it...

I like that shade of really dark blue (it is dark blue and not black, right?). Seems Coulthard has taken it for his helmet aswell.

I'm still not won over by Red Bull Racing but it's a nice looking livery, so credit where it's due.

I like the new livery, it's very nice. Kinder remind's me when Sauber were sponsor'd by Red Bull.

From the Red Bull site:

Red Bull Racing’s 2005 driving team is complete: along with Scotland's David Coulthard, the team consists of Austria’s Christian Klien and Italy’s Vitantonio Liuzzi. Klien and Liuzzi, who have identical contracts for 2005, will be testing as well as racing.

That confirms it then, Klien and Luizzi with both be racing at some point. But who will start the year?

I'd imagine the smart money would be on Klien because he knows the track, it'll give Liuzzi a time to find his feet with relatively little pressure.

But it's RBR so who knows what logic they use when making decisions?

Im looking at a photo of the 1996 Sauber, before Petronas were on board in a big way.

It looks just like a 1996 Sauber !!!!

Even has a Ford engine in the back

A very nice looking car in a stunning livery that.

I see, sadly, DC's helmet has gone corporate - out goes the traditional saltire blue in favour of Red Bull blue - and he's reworked the design on the side to feature a huge Red Bull logo.

I was quite pleased to see the West striper gone. His new helmet is much in the style of his Williams helmet, other than the Red Bull logos of course.

Is there a good close up view of his helmet, by the way?

I'm pleased the white "head band" has gone too - just a pity his signature helmet colour has been lost.
