Another race, another complaint by Ron Dennis. This time he criticised TGF for "blocking" Mika while he was attempting to pass. Is it just me, or is Ron just interested in crying to the FIA instead of the championship. I mean COMMON! TGF was just defending his position and he did nothing wrong. What else was he supposed to do? Let him by in a crucial race without doing anything? Ron should just shut up and concentrate on the championship.

For pity's sake, Ron-boy! You won the race! Now close your cakehole and get on with running your team!

Eeeeh, never mind-it's one of those things we love F1 so much for. What fun would it be if
-Schu doesn't block at least once -Schu suddenly admits-"It was my fault" -Mika doesn't "uhhh", [long pause], adjusts cap, "erghhh",[pause], wipes forehead... -DC rounds off the edges of his head -RB doesn't get screwed by a cospiracy in his own team and finally -Ron Dennis doesn't ***** at someone (preferably Schu and/or Ferrari) |

Well of course Schu blocked Mika!! But what Rated R says is true. I mean....I personally see schu as the "bad guy" of the race and if he's supposed to be the bad guy then he should behave like one!! It all adds up to the excitement.

I think this is one of the biggest problems in Formula 1. Whenever anything actually happens, someone complains that it was not fair, not safe, not legal or whatever. Everything except following a guy for an hour and a half 1 second behind making no attempts to pass seems to cause an outrage. Oh and if someone does attempt to pass, make sure you get out of the way straight away rather than trying to race or something stupid like that.

I blame Mika for trying to win.
Did Ron actually say that MS was to blame? If so what was he to blame for? Is that English? |

Right on the money, Peter. The absolute NERVE of Mika trying to pass, forcing Schu to take evasive action!
But what would our beloved sport be without Ron wringing his hands and gnashing his teeth? |

As I saw the move on Sunday I wondered to myself how long we'd have to wait before Ron said his bit...

I get the feeling I'm going to be in the minority on this, but I thought TGF's move was a weave. For a number of laps he had been driving to the right on that straight, Murray Walker presuming this to be for tyre cooling purposes. On dry tyres? What?? I thought this was unusual, then it became obvious. MS knew that Mika was in the faster car and would catch him, he also knew that the most likely overtaking point would be through that straight, or rather braking into the corner after the straight. So after the race he could just say, after forcing Mika almost off the road one side, then the other that he was just taking the line he had been through the race. Personally I think if a driver tries to overtake one side, then yes you can legitimately block that move, but if he then switches to overtake the other side you can't just drive him off the road. Even the incredibly laid back Mika said he thought something 'weird' had happened.
