Marshals world rankings
Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as a world rankings in motor racing marshals. A friend of mine was recently told he was in the top 10 but the guy who told him didn't know where this list came from (wind up?). My friend retired from racing this year and would like to know if such a thing exists.
Thanks in anticipation JG |

oh and in serious answer to your question, there's no official ranking of marshals worldwide - there are far too many clubs, disciplines, circuits etc. for that to be feasible. Besides, you're only ever as good as your last incident!

Hmm sense among marshals......I think we've just been insulted!
Oh and Stevie - what is wrong with sleeping with MagnetON pray tell? He doesn't snore that badly and has been broken of his attempts at "bed commando" - quite well behaved really. However, if that's the voice of experience I'd like to know what you two have been up to! Body - of course not darling. I would never put you in charge of the computer system...... |

I've been, erm, lurking, didn't want to appear for a while after the number of emails about Thruxton. Fortunately that's died down now so I'm back!

Actually, to bring this back on subject I can think of quite a few marshals who would be right down the bottom of the rankings!
A lot of them have done a few meetings and assume that they know everything there is to know... |
