JEB has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
BRDC WALTER HAYES TROPHY for FF1600

It is not too late to enter the BRDC Walter Hayes Trophy for FF1600.

Yes, interest has been high - but you can still enter and you don't get charged a surcharge for a 'late entry'.

Entry Forms are available from www.brdc.co.uk (the Walter Hayes Trophy link at the top of the home page).

or by emailing James.Beckett@brdc.co.uk

If you have any questions about the event please ask - the event is for the competitor!

The rumour that the F3 Winter Series has been cancelled is true. The two F3 races have been replaced by the 1-hour Bill Taylor Memorial Trophy race for Porsche cars originally scheduled for Rockingham on November 1st.

FF1600s do get the use of garages - makes November at Silverstone just that little tad warmer!

Let's try and make 60 cars ! That would be superb for FF1600.

roberts is an outsider imo. fowler and sleeman, if its wet then yes should be up there. be suprised if one of the above's names doesnt appear on the trophy. (from my original predictions. just curious on what others think.

jminsh - you think sleeman, fowler or roberts will win then? if so why? im intersted in opinions/views

thanks.

Hey lads does anyone know the gear ratios for silverstone? I would much appreciate it as I need them if I am going to give Peter a good run for his money in heat two.
It looks like it's going to be a great meeting with strong entries in all heats.
Great job James with the seeding not like wacky races in brands !

If you're on ACB10's try :
15/36
20/32
22/28
25/27
You may find slight variations,
but these should do the job.

Yes what has the Clerk of the Weather got up his sleeve for next w/e?
Watched the CART from Surfers P last week, rain as usual, then it turned into HAIL !!! Some spectators still in shorts (no T-shirts), OUCH !!! It didn't look like much of a paradise to me!

Nothing is that slippery!

Did you get any promising "Leads" from yesterday James? When will we get our final instructions?

Final instructions were posted last week Justin.

Sadly the current go-slow by the Post Office has delayed them reaching you.

If you haven't had anything by Wednesday please contact either:

Carol.Jeffs@brdc.co.uk
or
James.Beckett@brdc.co.uk

Hopefully a few more entries to follow.

BRDC Historic Sports Cars could hopefully swing the balance for me on the accreditation front...only problem being I think my letter is in my broken down car
