FRC Round 13 - Mil Milhas
This is the official prediction thread for the 13th and final round of the Fantasy Racing Challenge. This is the Mil Milhas, which takes place at Interlagos in Brazil. Pertinent information can be found as follows:
The entry list: http://www.lemans-series.com/2007/uk...te_engages.asp The event schedule: http://www.lemans-series.com/2007/uk.../timetable.asp The race thread: http://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100337 If you have not read through the rules and information thread, please do so, as the format is somewhat unique. Your submission should include your pole prediction for each class along with your pick(s) for each class winner. Reminder: You can pick up to three cars for your class winning choice. I have no set format for submitting your picks as long as it is easy to follow. A submission may look like this: P1 Pole: Peugeot #7 Winner: Peugeot #8, Pescarolo #16 OR GT2 Pole: Porsche #77 Winner: Porsche #77, Ferrari #97 All predictions should be in by 1:00pm (local time) on Thursday, November 8th, which is 2 hours and 40 minutes prior to qualifying. We have a cracking championship fight going with a number of people still in with a shot at the overall victory. And seeing as this is the final round, the pressure is on. Good luck to everyone! |

Competition Note: Due to the championship implications, I am going to suggest that for those that wish to do so, that they can do their picks by PM for this round. I will find an impartial party and will notify everyone. If you choose this option you can then submit your picks via PM and they will then be posted after the deadline by the impartial party.

Hey, that is a groovy idea! While I am more focused on not out thinking myself (used up most of what is left of my brain so far ) and avoided the technical pitfalls I had a few rounds ago, which had me inventing new curse words in the middle of the night .... the last thing on my mind was developing a strategy against someone else's picks. I am too feeble brained for that. But, since this PM'ing of picks may benefit me, heck, let's rock on and do it!
I wish everyone luck, it has been fun. Jhansen, kudos to you for dealing with this most of the calendar year, I understand the time challenges and such with work, family, life, etc., and you certainly deserve a beer or more on all of us. robert |

AdamAshmore has graciously accepted my request. So if you would like to submit your picks 'blind' please PM them to Adam before the posting deadline on Thursday November 8th. Adam will post the picks on Friday November 9th. Or if you like, you can post them here as usual. Thanks.

What? eh?
Thought I'd post in the thread so the PM option is only a click away, rather than you having to hunt me out. Good luck all. |

Nice pick. Unfortunately that will give you no points as the Virgo Motorsport car will not be racing in Brazil

Well, I'm abroad from tomorrow until Sunday, so no indicators/clues before I send my predictions to Adam, and the first I'll hear about the race will be after the event. Yes, it's a tough one, I'm not entirely hopeful I can maintain a podium position, the pressure's on!
Good luck guys, and thank you to everyone who has participated, it's been a lot of fun! And I guess now is as good a time as any to thank Jeremy. Your hard work and dedication to the success of this competition has been awsome. Thank you, you're a complete star! |

I've had one entry so far. Remember I will not post them until after the deadline, so there is no reason (other than dithering) to delay submission.
