Need your help with Marketing!

Hi all,

For my marketing class I have decided to analyze Champ Car to figure out what they can do better to market themselves. So what I am looking for are resources that can help me determine what the demographics are and the types of sponsorships that Champ Car goes for.

Also I would like to understand how they are trying to increase their fan base and whether or not it is feasible to market toward 18-34 year olds and how they can market toward them.

I am also trying to analyze the cars themselves, comparing them with those of other racing series, and seeing how the cars themselves can be used as a marketing tool.

So if anyone has anything regarding the business side of Champ Car and its comeptition, please let me know. I would be very grateful.

Thanks!
Amar

They're attempting a new marketing strategy aimed at the 18-34yr demographic via tuner cars and drifting.

And their double-bill with the NASCAR trucks was another attempt to reach out to a new audience.

You might want to go over to the Molson website and see if anyone at MolStar is available; they are nice guys and may give you some information.
