Good drivers with no 2004 drive
What is the sad list of good drivers with no drive yet for the 2004 season?, Rositer, what is he doing?, Kane, England? let me know who do you think should have a drive and does not

Rossiter's in with Fortec F3! Add Valle Makela and Jay Howard to your list. Also Robbie Kerr if you want to look a bit further up the ladder

Robbie Kerr and Marc Hynes are fairly obvious examples. They both ahve the talent, but not the backing. Going across the Atlantic there are examples such as Jon Fogarty, who is being overlooked for ChampCar drives right now. The smaller fields in ChampCars and IRL have left Oriol Servia, Mario Haberfeld, Al Unser Jr and Felipe Giaffone all scrambling around for a drive.

Phil Giebler's doing the IPS (basically the feeder series to the IRL), as he reasoned that he only had funds for a couple of F3000 races. It's a real shame but hoepfully doesn't end his F1 chances.

can't remember the name of the team for Makela.
It was in autosport....although now I'm starting to doubt it and I wonder if it was Asme in F3 junior this year ? I think it was Makela...but it could be Asmer |

Alan van der Merwe who absolutely cremated the opposition in F3 last year also did'nt so much as get an F1 test with anyone. It seems British F3 is losing its shine next to the Euro series with its Manufacturer support.A real shame really.
