does anyone know if there are any ex Vic Elford cars in the UK? I need one next summer...

Try wotshisname Griffiths in Shrewsbury, hes a big Porsche sepcialist, and propbably has a 917 he drove.

Wot do you need it for?

The 911 that Vic campiagned in British Saloon car championship events and some early rallycross in the UK, (GVB911D from memory)is still around- A Lydden rallycross meeting a couple of years ago had a display and parade of historic cars, and I seem to remember that particular 911 being there, so presumably it may still be in the UK

Vic is coming to the UK next summer for a 70aks motor club event.

does anyone have contact details for these cars?

David McKinney should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I rhink a couple of his F1 Cooper-BRMs are still around - Syd Hoole had an 86B two or three years ago, and the 86C was raced (with Alfa engine) in FORCE events about the same time

There's probably also the flat hat guy into 911's in Oxfordshire for a rally car - JOsh Sadler thats it !
