Yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
jessums what the heck did I get up so early for??? I have never seen a more boring race in my whole life.....F1 really is pretty pointless sometimes.... no wonder this sport will never catch on with the Americans (not that I really care about that) they'll never get up this early to have the most exciting thing to happen in a race be a discussion about TGF's steering wheel!!! JV did have a nice drive though.....ahhh back to bed...ahhhhhhhhhh why can't Schumi's car ever just blow up for once! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh |

One more thing.......this really shows that without a first corner shunt or some of the front runners having mechanical problems there is nothing to talk about after these races expect trivial and pointless drivel......let's face it guys the actual racing in F1 is pathetic Something has to be done to make it more competitive

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed. |

until the mid 80's we had interessting F1 races, but it look that F1 is more boring than ever.
Thanks Max Mosley. All stupid rules, like pitstops, drive thru penalties, Stop-and-go, Safety car. Racing is racing and not a commercial show that we can see every two weeks. |

The design of the circuits really need to be looked now I think.
We've had some good races so far so it all can't be blamed on the design of the cars. What chance is there to over take when you are either braking hard or accelerating hard |

The only good thing about todays results is that it no doubt helped me a little in the predictions competition. The podium is exatly as I had predicted it(although with 2nd and 3rd switched around).

I generally agree with Teddy's point about the lack of popularity in the US. BUT, in defense I will that some american race fans are extremely narrow minded when it comes to open wheel racing(but the same can be said about certain europeen fans and oval racing as well).

I read the sports sections of the Boston Globe and the New York Times. Did you know that the Cleveland Indians, (a life-long obsession) are 11-1 in an inconceivanbly great start to the Baseball season? With Frentzen and Fisi out early and DC running a wet wheather setup, I had little to cheer in Imola, but the Indians are going for their 11th straight victory today.

Well Thankfully for me, I've still got 2 more races coming up this afternoon to keep me entertained.
I'll be rooting for Jeff Gordon to win at Martinsvile, and Long Beach should be an action packed race as well. It's times like these I'm glad to be a fan of all the big 3. |

That was without a doubt the most boring race so far this year. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the season now, because on the strength of today's race, it's just going to be another Ferrari whitewash. Nobody but TGF was ever going to win, and Williams were nowhere.

Dull dull dull, and no wonder Ralf looked miffed, that's his WDC hopes out the window . The departure of Kimi and the Arrows made the race even more lacklustre. At least Mark overtook a Jaguar... woooooow... (Actually, Webber drove a decent race today.)

Rain is always a great leveller, but the way the Ferraris were going, it would have been worse probably.
Perhaps I shouldn't bother taping the race? |

They'll find some way to lose, EERO. Omar and Thome won't even be with the team at the end of the year. Stupid cheap greedy ownership.
As for the racing being so bad, it's partly the Ferarri's having a dramatic edge on twisty circuits, and a miserable *******ized design to this track. The chicanes have killed any hope of racing here. Two years in a row a Schumacher has led from start to finish. :P |
