I won't be there 'cos it is simply to late in the year to organise anything.

Brockie's BACK!!!!!

As reported on page 3 of Brisbane,s Courier Mail sat.June 16th.
"Peter Brock is planning a Bathurst comeback.
The King of the Mountain, who won the Bathurst 1000 a record nine times, intends to be back behind the wheel in November.
And he could be lining up against five time world motorcycle champion Mick Doohan.
The retired racers are both aiming for a starting spot in a new 24-hour race at Mount Panorama for production-style cars.
The organisers ,procar Australia, are planning for an 83-car field which will be headed by exotic Ferraris and Lamborghinis and filled out by showroom contenders from almost every brand in Australia.
brock is working on a plan which would slide him into a holden monaro while Doohan,s favourite choice is a Ferrari 360.
"IT SOUNDS LIKE MY KIND OF RACE,DOESN,T IT," said Brock.
The super fit 57 year old now realizes he retired too soon, and is looking for a new challenge after competing successfully in the Targa Tasmania road race and Australian Safari desert rally in recent years.
He has no intention of returning to V8 Supercar racing ,despite operating Team Brock this year with Kiwi Craig Baird as driver, but says he is enjoying competing in semi serious events.
"It,s good to have a bit of fun.A bit of competition," he said.

I wont be there cause it's almost impossible to ferry officials around, the facilities are garbage, the prices for food on track are incredible, and while we're supposed to be getting free meals I'll believe it when I see it, and IMG is organizing it. Those blokes have no people skills all they care about is the almighty dollar.

Plus talking to all the officials I know, no-one's going anyway. I'll tip right now that it wont go on.

They'll get the local SES along to fix the problem of lack of officials.... I've seen it happen before.
