Chartman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Suzi Perry to replace Louise Goodman in the pit lane.
Wishful thinking on my part I'm afraid. Louise Goodman does my fruit in - her knowledge seems very poor and from some of the things the teams say to her they know it.
Suzi on the other hand seems to know everything about everybody in Superbikes, and walks around in skimpy leather outfits .
Who would you like to represent the ITV team in the pitlane?

To be honest they both annoy me, so i voted for "someone else (preferably a babe)",although id settle for someone who actually knew what they were talking about and wasnt obsessed with Jenson Button. The 'top girlie' banter between 'our Jense' and Louise Goodman during the 2003 season was cringeworthy!

a babe preferably!! but whats the diff. we hardly get to see LOUISE thru out the race (thank god!!). ahes too busy flirting opps talking with the drivers anyways. and if they do hire a babe we wont get to see the race... (good or bad??)

Kai Ebel does the pit lane roaming for RTL quite adequately - their coverage of the F1 is of a sufficient standard not to need people like Beverley Turner teetering around in a mini skirt.

Suzy Perry hates F1 though. It's too "one-sided" and "boring" for her tastes. She obviously hasn't watched the superbikes closely enough this year, then.

You don't see Suzi during Superbikes, only during the pre and post race driver interviews. Maybe she's used because all the riders are quite happy to talk (and flirt) with her. She does seem to know what shes talking about though, not that I know anything about bikes.

Anyway it doesn't matter how cool you look, or how much you jangle, it matters if you know your stuff and can converse. Peter wins on both counts. I'd go for him.

The babe factor doens't bother me either. A babe or not, why not watch the GP enjoy the race and have a Kylie Calendar next to your telly. Job done.

So my choice is just "Someone else", which isn't there.

As it is a poll, the title has become a question

Who's the Dutch girl Eurosport have on the Super Racing week-end? She seems to know what she is talking about (well almost) and is certainly good eye candy, so would be an ideal replacement - for this old man, anyway!

Could you mean Martyna Wojciechowska? She has presented racing in Europe and has competed in the Paris Dakar rally, and certainly qualifies as eye candy.

That's a good point. Bev Turner doing the driver interviews!

I'd like to see Diana Binks try F1. She's very knowledgable on whichever race she's reporting on (TOCA, ASCAR, Le Mans or something different), and, if you're bothered about eye-candy, then there's no complaints!

However, I don't like Peter Windsor. He knows his stuff, that's for certain, but I'm afraid I really don't like his style. 5Live's Peter Slater however...

Just realised my mistake - I meant Perry McCarthy!
He'd be a breath of fresh air, can talk for England and would probably get fired for being non PC. It would be great while it lasted though!
