BTCC @ Knockhill - 21/22nd July

Wondering if anyone was thinking of making the journey up to Scotland?

No.

My spine hasn't really recovered from smacking the kerbs on that chicane last year...

I'll miss the locals though, spent about 4 hours talking to the crowds after the race, lovely bunch.

Reckon we can arrange something, Simon... We're still not organised yet, but give us a few days and hopefully we'll be sorted. I'll put your name down, yes ?

Luckily I'm only an hour or so's drive from Knockhill. Will try to catch a glimpse of you guys, but I'm too shy to come and say hi!
Lets just say I'll make sure you all look alright(ish)!

I know there is at least one person on here that has Knockhill as their local circuit. Can you recommend any cheap B&B's? After 3 nights of camping at Mondello, I don't think I could do it again!

oh go on lorna!!! although u dont have much luck with getting a good nites sleep do u!!!!

like i said is anyone interested in going to Knockhill i know myself and big olly are interested so will make a decent contribution to travel costs - well i presume that we all want to hire some kind of ten tenths on tour mini bus for the weekend - i would drive some of way no probs - although im not sure whether anyone under 21 is allowed to drive a hired vehicle are they!!

well whatever if anyone is interested shout loudly in my direction if you have an idea and want to sahre costs etc

I am thinking about Easy Jet from Luton. It is a long way to drive. No plans yet, just thinking out loud. Got to work out cost and make sure it doesn't cost too much.

£35 by plane is cheaper than the petrol would cost. Kewl.

Don't forget to allow for parking your car at the airport (£20?) and renting another at the other end (£100), and of course B&B (£20 per night) as you wouldn't be able to take camping gear on the plane. It's not going to be cheap but better than a 9hr drive each way.
