lola b05/40 lmp2 on dsc...
once again, proof that dailysportscar.com is worth the subscription... great little piece on the upcoming for 2005 lola lmp2 car. seems that progress is going full on at lola which is great news for sportscars. go check it out!

question is how is the person interested in running the hybrid b160? My bets go on either RML or intersport. I would probably go more towards RML, given that the IMSA have given the old rules a longer stay into '05.
b05/40 looks quite good though, be very interested to see it's debut at Sebring next year |

Autosport this week reports that RML wants to run a Daytona Prototype campaign, so presumably running a B01/60 in the USA too would be unlikely.

What you can't see on the ALMS site is a close up (or, rather, a crop) of the front-on picture.
It's interesting (although, I suppose, unsurprising) that the nose resembles more the B160 (B01/60?) than the B2K/40, which was how the artist's conception from way back showed it. |
