wow wow wow Autosport magazine!
I've just had an email from Autosport.
If you subscribe to Autosport magazine you can see the weeks edition over a day before it hits the shops! "Autosport First View" is a totally new concept in magazine production that allows you to read Autosport as soon as it is written. This a completely free service to subscribers. Wow. That is how it should be! I've just logged on to it and it looks just like the mag, but on you screen. On a Tuesday!!!! Wow. |

Adam, if you publish your password on here, you could save us all a lot of money
I wonder when they may think of doing a reduced subscription for an E-magazine only? |

I have been an Autosport reader for nearly 50 years, but never a subscriber as its easier to pick it up at a newsagent.Used to able to pick it up from noon Wednesday at London stations.Very angry if we are denied this service.

My password is "Bogoff"
I am just taken aback by this. I just didn't think the world worked like this. I assumed that progress meant backwards. Haymarket! First the new Motorsport (er several years ago now!) and now this. It almost makes me forgive them for Mark Hughes (the James Allen of the written word). |

I have been reading Newspapers online, well the Sun mainly, for a couple of years now. It saves a trip to the shop |

It wouldn't be so bad if Autosport wasn't these days a pale imitation of what it was, say 15-20 years ago.......

I do read the papers on line too, but still buy them. you still get more in a paper version!
Ayse you raise a good point. Are those heady days of space travel, supersonic passenger flight, decent telly and non "hello" style Autosports What took me back, is that it is a good idea, implemented really well! |

I knew it was too good to be true. Get home and try to log on again and I get the error message: "You are not permitted to access this resource because someone is logged in already using that subscriber number." Hmmm, well that was six hours ago! My previous 'faith' in the world is restored! |

I rang the number up and they told me (I didn't have anything there to tell me). Got through straight away and they told me! Wow, service. It was an eight digit number. I assume it is on your envelope it comes in, but I can't find one at the moment, not even in the bin, sorry.
Tonight it didn't work, I thought I'd email them to let them know and they got back to me and sorted it!!!!!!! Amazing. 10/10 for Autosport all round. Wow. |

Yeah, I could imagine it being a bit of a pain without it. It's not exactly quick WITH broadband.

Your right Mike it isn't easy to read, even when zoomed in or on single page. It also says you can save it for offline viewing, but does anyone know how you can choose the location of where it is saved so I can back it up & then I can throw away my paper copies of the magazine & make my wife happy!!

So yesterday, I forgot it was Wednesday and didn't try to use it.
Then this morning - Thursday - my paper copy didn't land on the doormat, so I logged onto the online jobbo. It is really great and just like the real thing. There is still basically nothing in it worth reading. On a serious note, Sorry to see Edwina's obituary - which I already knew about via TT Equally saddened to see of the demise of Jeff May. A great enthusiast who will be sorely missed. |

There is an interesting part of tomorrow's Autosport. There is an article on the new Mitsubishi Lancer. Some of the pictures are just a black rectangle with the words "Enbargoed until November 27" 'stamped' on them. Presumably they will appear in the magazine, but can't be in the on-line day earlier version!
