Mercedes hit track
Mercedes have begun testing the new CLK DTM 03 challenger. The car, althought appearing similar to the 2002 car, is much different underneath with few if no parts carried over from the 2001 car. Will this car give Bernd another title. Abt will hit the track next week with ther new TT-R

The CLK started 2002 with some serious handling issues, as I understand it, and by the time that AMG got to grips with them, Aiello's points lead was too great for Schneider to overcome. But yes, sure, Abt did a great job last year, especially given their resources.

I wonder where are the '00/'01 CLK cars? I want to suggest to MB that they should sell those cars cheaply to privateers? OTOH, I guess they don't want their cars breaking down due to being poorly maintained.
