Roselady3 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
It's all Lar's Fault !!!!

Lar's asked me for a poem to start off this racing weekend. He asked me at that "other" place, but I thought I would bring it to you all here. Any problems- BLAME HIM !!!

Firecracker 400

There's a race in July-& it's held at night.
Down in hot ol' Florida, in a place that's not right.
The track is beautiful- & full of great wonder,
But a decision by NASCAR- that I consider a blunder.
They choke off these cars- not letting them run.
They tie them up in packs & takes away the fun.
The dreaded restrictor plate makes the racing real scary
As they go round & round- The train gets kinda hairy.
They are all lined up- unable to pass
They travel the oval in one huge dangerous mass.
As they travel at speeds nearing 200 miles an hour,
The closeness of it all- makes them sort of sour.
As we wait for "the big one" All scared & afraid
We fear the worst- a mistake will be made
With one small bump- the cars can go flying
We hold our breath & fear that we will be crying.
For it will be MY driver that heads straight into the wall
To loose another great driver is a fear of us all.
My anger is there, my temper is meltin'
Take them fricking plates off right now- Mr Helton !!!!!
