Licence back after all these years!

Just received my National A Race Licence after FAR too many years without!

Sent in my old Nat B tickets from all those years ago with enough signatures and here it is ..... chuffed I have to say. Only a written ARDS test was required.

Very impressed with the MSA - they were very helpful on the phone and my application was processed quickly. I also got emails saying they had received it and they had dispatched it.

I also fly and the CAA (aka Campaign against Aviation) could learn a whole lot from the MSA. Pilot's licence processing is pretty much the opposite of my very positive experience with the MSA.

Still have plenty of signatures on some other old ones, I wonder ........

Now all I need to do is get out there!

A couple of years ago the MSA online licensing was pretty crap but I have to say this year it worked well for me too. There is still plenty of room for improvement but it was certainly pretty painless this year. What are you planning on racing?

I going to do some testing first in saloons (MX5 or Fiesta probably) and a bit of racing later in the year, then next year buy either an MX5 for a Mazda championship or a single seater(if I can lose some more weight) to do Monoposto or similar.
