First Turn, First Lap...
Just for fun...
How many cars do you think will be knocked out of the Cleveland GP on the first turn of the first lap? Winner receives little more than "bragging rights"... My guess? Three. |

I think there will be a close call when Tracy gets mighty tight with Bourdais but otherwise it'll be clean

Maybe a few drivers will bang wheels, but I think only one driver will be out of the race as a result of the first turn. Hopefully it will not be Cristiano.
Of course I'm hoping for a clean start... |

I think the reputation of the corner will make everybody that much more careful.
ZERO incidents! Turn two may be a different story however! |

Tracy and whoever is on either side of him. Unless he is on pole.

One car out.
I think one of the rookies will be so intimidated that he will not be watching his mirrors. Smack! Broken suspension. Of course, I could be wrong and, of course, I will have a beer in hand and be there in person! |

I voted for one. I hope Justin makes it through this year. I think Tag came flying up and created havoc.
Andrew Ranger knows all about turn 1 from the Atlantic race. I think he spun there on the first lap. |

There's been a pretty good record this year for fairly clean starts. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it will be an incident free T1 L1.

A similar poll has started on the series' website.
Right now, it's: 71% The front row will get through but there will be trouble behind 14% There will be contact at the front of the field 13% Everyone will get through unscathed |

Just read the post-qualifying press conference. Apparently they are going to place a barrel on the track. I'm not sure I undestand it all though.

Of course, I started this poll before anybody knew anything about the barrel !
But I'm happy with my original guess of "3"... |

The Atlantics still had contact, regardless of the barrel.

Turns out that '1' was the answer, so well done to anyone who got it right.
