Gerard should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Prost will end their cooperation with Peugeot at the end of the year and probably have Mercedes engines in 2001.
Peugeot, however, have expressed they like to stay in Formula One.
They are thinking of developing engines which they can sell to the teams (like Renault is doing with Supertec), but there is also an option to buy into an existing team.
Which team could that be?
Sauber's contract with Ferrari also ends at the end of the season and Minardi is looking for something better than the Cosworth engines they have to deal with now.
Even Arrows are not sure whether they will keep the Supertec engines next year since Renault might be concentrating on Benetton in the near future.
Rumours are, even Jordan are interested.
Where will Peugeot go next year?

Sauber's deal for Petronas engines ends this season, and Arrows' deal for Supertecs is only for ONE season.

The Petronas engines should go to Minardi, leaving Arrows wtih the Peugeouts or Supertecs again.

As for Jordan????

Minardi fan, why should the Peugeot engines go to Minardi?
Can they offer a better deal to Peugeot than Sauber or Arrows?

As for Peugeot sticking around, why should they? What success have they had? Now is the right time for them to leave.

I humbly apologize Minardi fan, dear Sir.
I did indeed not read your post correctly.
Must be the burnout I'm suffering from lately.
