It should be nifty - and even Arrows managed a point with their dog.

Haha...but it looks extremely conservative a design (well which one isn't after seeing Arrows front, Ferrari's rear and Jordan the yellow banana?).. Hope Minardi do well with it and get a point or two which they deserve!

GO Minardi!

Question. Wasn't there supposed to be a few new sponsors from Australia with Mark Webber? I can't see any Aussie names on the car so far!

I think the livery looks pretty good -- I'm not a fan of black racing cars in general, but the red stripes set it off nicely. At least it looks much better than what we saw earlier on their two-seater and the test mule. I hope they score some points.

Its not the best livery Minardi have had (1998) and it isn't the worst that they have had (1997)

Its a good looking car and can beat Jaguar to 10th place.

Well it's OK. It's a Minardi and that's the main point. Will it fly?? No. Will it get any points?? No. Will Toyota beat it's little ass into the ground?? Yes.

BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!! IT'S THE NEW MINARDI, EVERYBODY!!! YAY!!!

Minardi got 0 points in 2001 and beat the Arrows some times. In 2001 they had the 98 Cosworth and Arrows the Asiatech. Now Arrows has the 2002 Cosworth and Minardi the Asiatech, which is actually an old Pug

Hang on, Hakkiman. As I'm sure you know, I am a Minardi obsessive too!! However, I really can't see it happening this year, unless in a case of attrition. I don't know. One can hope.

Its a real possibility because Jaguar are in chaos. They have a bad car and people keep leaving.

I agree, with that old AsiaTech stuck in the back they are going to struggle. You also forget that whilst Toyota may not be the fastest car yet, they have time and money on their side!

Actually, it has both the flag of Malaysia (on the airbox) and the similar city flag of Kuala Lumpur (or at least that's what I assume it is -- maybe one of our Malaysian posters can confirm this) on the side pod. I think they look good against the black background.

I like that little flag on the airbox too, looks neat.

Also, the Asiatech isn't an old Peugeot, it's a new Peugeot! Just thought I should set the record straight...

And Minardi will beat toyota this year
