Toyota / Mitsubishi in V8s
We all know about mitsubishi wanting to enter v8 supercars and now toyota are thinking the same way.
I'd like to know any information on the subject as i'm sure some of you also do, and also, i'd like to know weather you think it would be beneficial for hte sport or not. |

Mitsubishi cant afford a postage stamp at the moment, certainly no Supercar investment for them.
Toyota often threatens to, but never follows thru, despite a very long history with circuit racing, with John Smith, John Faulkner, Drew Price amongst others in the Corolla programs.... |

Haven't we had this conversation before?
Toyota has F1 to dominate... Mitsubishi has other problems to contemplate... |

Looking in this month's Wheels the Magna sales have slipped from 8th place to 14th with only 1094...not looking good.
Especially when Mazda's market share is higher than Mitsubishi's. 6.2% to 5.9%.. |

Pulling out must be looking attractive to the Mitsu beancounters when importers start grabbing bigger market share.

Keep it the way it is. If it's not broke, don't fix it!
