Most Influential People in F3
I was reading in F1Business about 150 most powerful people in F1 and was wondering who the most powerful people are in F3.

Indeed. There's no-one of real influence in F3.
Those who do have influence within it are not high-flyers in motor racing generally. |

I'd say Alan Docking, Jeremy Lord, Neil Brown and perhaps Trevor Carlin. Mike Baker as well. Anyone who's been around for a while...

There's some bloke called Stephane Ratel, who's supposed to be running the show.
I reckon Jonathan Palmer has a lot of influence too, what with running about half the circuits. |

Obviously that's a historical list, rather than a current one.

Cheesy, why put Jeremy Lord last? he is the organiser and co-ordinator of the BF3. Any why include only people in the British series? aAnd Stella at 7 and Trevor Sweetnam 17th? |

The most influential people in F3 could be the bosses of Renault - when their new ladder kills it off!

I think you are forgetting alot of European sponsors who probably put more money into the sport than the complete Carlin Budget, i think Mr Ungar of HWA in my opinion is the guy to impress if you want to be up there!

If anyone else can come up with a list, for British or even Euro F3, I'd be very interested. But the Euro list would only consist of Mercedes-Benz. |
