Motaworld line up
Ok, sp Lloyd and Bell appear to be signed up for next year - any ideas who the third and fourth drivers might be?
Rumours that Kovalainen might be their secret weapon? And Tom Herridge will be with them yet again next year? |

Heikki Kovalainen will either be in Fortec's Formula Renault car of their F3 car.

Steven Kane is testing for Motaworld later this week I hear and has probably turned his back on FFords.

I think Luke Hines will be one of the drivers for next year, he was testing with them in spain and showed his pace.

I havent heard anybody mention Ryan Sharp in the Motorworld driver lineup. He tested for them at the end of the season but nothing more has been mentioned. Is that deal all signed and done?. Im sure Mr sharp would love to drive against young gun team mate Luke Hines again and it might give us a chance to see just how good Steven Kane is. It would certainly make a good line up.

Phil Giebler was testing Motaworld's F3 car.
I'm told, from very reputable sources, that the team and Swindon Engines were very impressesed by his performance. He set the fastest F3 time of the week even though he was only running on old tyres. |

Philip Giebler is pants. Someone somewhere else on this section said Pat Long was a big headed American. Personally I don't know him but can't believe he's got anything on Giebler!
Ryan Sharp: he could be at Fortec. He did a really good race for them at Donington earlier in the year. Fortec ought to keep jamie Green as well as he was stunning in the winter series for them. |

I have heard that Gary Turkington, is very close to signing for Motaworld. This would give the team, with Rob Bell, 2 drivers capable of winning races and challenging for the championship.
"jonny Apex" just wondering why the extremly derogatory and negative comment about Phil Giebler. He was very impressive in his British F3 debut at Silverstone, a circuit he had not seen before, with a car and team he had not seen before the friday morning test. Every team he has driven for have been highly impressed by his speed and technical ability. (I have no connection whatsoever with Phil Giebler or his management) |

Robert Bell will sink without trace next season when he actually has some talent to compete against, not the Winter Series muppets. |

sgrok,
I think we would all be interested to know what factors lead you to that conclusion about Rob Bell, especially as your opinion is totally opposite that of my contacts who actually work within Formula Renault. It is quite possible that your opinoion is right, we will find out soon, I'm just fancinated to know what knowlege you have used to reach your conclusions. |

Fairly average career in FF/F3, He lost pole from every single start in winter series His Motaworld car was 'special' for want of a better word |

1. Rob Bell has never driven an F3 car, so how can he have had an average f3 career?
2. Please enlighten us all, how exactly was the Motaworld car "special", and if i've understood your inference, how did it pass scruteneering? |

I heard the same, Lloyd was quicker than Kane.
Also Gary Turkington was over 0.5 of a sec quicker than Kane at Pembery last week, both in Motaworld cars. |

I think it very unfair to start making comparisons in a driver's first test in a new formula. Lloyd already had ample running in Renaults (winter series, plus a week's testing in Spain), while this was Kane's first ever time out. Turkington, I believe, did get a run last year with Paston.
How do we know what track conditions were like for each driver (rain and wind means it changes very rapidly at Pembrey)or indeed what the team was asking of each individual driver. This is to take nothing away at all from Lloyd who I consider to be a potential major talent of the future. Even he, though, will admit it took more than one test to start to feel truly at home in a slicks and wings Renault. Give Kane a chance to at least get a bit more running under his belt. Not only this, but how can anyone truly believe what the times were unless there was official timing ... |

Johnny,
Yet again you are wrong, Gary Turkington, although much admired by Paston Racing, Has never driven one of their cars. |

btw Johnny, we are still waiting for your explanation of how the Motaworld cars in the Winter Sreries were "special".
What evidence do you have that the cars were not running to series spec? Please enlighten us. Or is it just a *****ing comment because your favoured driver lost? We await your evidence. |

Look Takum, it really is commendable that you made it to F1, but that doesn't make you the oracle on all things motorsport.
I've got news for you - YOU are wrong. It was me, not Johnny that said Motaworld's cars were 'special'. And I could tell you how I know this, but then I'd have to kill you. And I don't think that would go down too well with EJ. |

I'm sure EJ can survive if I die!
However I'm sure the others here would love to know exactly how the Motaworld cars were special, or was that just a *****y coment because your favoured driver faqiled to win??? |
