Ianwales should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Pembrey 28/29th June

Hi all

Just had my tickets for the BRSCC at Pembrey, anyone else coming west to play at this meeting. If anyone is undecided a few more marshals will be welcome.

Ian

If I can get round to replacing a wheel bearing replaced in time on the heap I might finally get to Pembrey to try a day amongst the orange army.

You might be disappointed if you do since they're actually going to Anglesey...

Now that was an intresting weekend,
Seen the programme and thought.
isn`t this going to be fun.....Not !!!!!!!
Mazda`s
Nippon Challenge
Welsh Sports Saloon`s
All had grids of around 25,
With some excellent racing over the weekend.
Fiats,all 10 of them.
thats the point where your gonna have a quiet 20 minutes of playing i spy...
well thats until 1 decided to roll the car and that gave me the pleasure of filling out my 1 st serious incident form.
Sunday`s race with only 9 cars still proved to be a damn fine race.

So all in all,the event lacked quantity of races,
BUT !!!! for the races we had, they sure as heck made up for it

A word of Thanx....

Spent my first weekend in orange at Pembrey, Just want to say Thanks to All the guys on Post 5 for a great weekend, I learned some stuff, and decided that - yes- this is something I really want to be doing.

Saw some great racing - and got to remember my Broom handling training from my time working on London Underground

MSA registration form completed for mailing out tomorrow!

See you all again soon!

Can I personally thank everybody for their help in running the first of our two visits to Pembrey this year. We were disappointed to not be able to bring a bigger timetable with us but we are hopeful Septembers will be a big improvement. However what was out there, provided some great racing with hundredths of a second gap finishes in some of the races.

We at the BRSCC(SW) Centre always enjoy coming to Pembrey and I hope some of that enthusiasm is evident in what we try to do. It is always a pleasure working with the local marshaling team who always do a good job.

I know from the feedback I received from some of the championships today, that they certainly enjoyed themselves and will be looking to come back next year.

Many thanks again and we look forward to seeing you all again in September.

That was my uncle who did the acrobatics in the Fiat, in only his 2nd ever race! As a result I wasn't able to compete in the Sunday race making the grid size even more pathetic. It's boring for us too when there's so few out there

Anyway, a big thank you to the rescue staff and marshals for the very rapid response to the accident. Fortunately the driver was able to get out of the car and walk away and mickey-taking commenced that evening over steak and chips at the Ashburnham hotel.

Watched the incident from start to finish.
my 1st reaction was,
now don`t be silly and get off the grass.
so he did and got back on the track, then straight back on to the grass on the other side,he handled the car very well, even missed the tyre wall by a foot and at the last moment it went broadside and rolled.
So whilst running down the bank, requesting a race stop, picking up the fire bottle and updating RC,i finally got there.
He got out of the car,so i knew the ABC of 1st aid was ok,we missed out the D & E and he took up the F - Words..
From the time he started rolling,we had Docs, medics & rescue there within one minute.
But glad he is a ok and can laff about it

That looks like side to side contact with the left rear quarter of Car A & front right quarter of car B,which resulted in car A going in to a roll.

car seemed to roll pretty easy.
just wondering if the touched wheels ?
