will the aussie grid be any different
Having a read of the Australian Grand prix program book i picked up this morning an interesting fact jumped out at me.
every year since 1996 there has been team mates on the front row of the grid. williams have started 1-2 two times , Mclaren have started 1-2 three times and Ferrari have started 1-2 four times. I found this very interesting indeed and was actually suprised i hadnt noticed it before. so will 2005 have team mates on the front row or will the pattern be broken ? |

All i can see is either both Renaults or McLarens.
Maybe we will have those two in the top Montoya Alonso Raikkonen Fisichella |

I think the Renaults will make a good showing at qualifying however I just don't believe Ferrari will be as bad as popular opinion suggests.

That is surprising marcus-how come we all missed that?
Maybe mac or renault can do it but not furrari-they aren't fast enough to get both on the front row |

You're idea of the grid suits me Twig!
But methinks also that the Fiats will be at the sharp end somewhere ll weekend - be thrilled if they aren't however |

I think McLaren are the most likely to sweep the front row of the grid, but Renault and Ferrari can't be ruled out. Then again, if Paul Stoddard is the soulless hypocritical attention seeker he's being made out to be, his cars will run on fumes with their illegal wings and sweep the front row.

We often (through the ages) have seen two-by two grids. It is quite likely that this would be the case, I guess. Is it more or less likely at the season start? One team hits the floor running? Or is it the track? Barcelona (a car circuit) often gives a similar grid (although they all test there too).
