Ford Australia Racing Team
I know the initials aren't pretty, but how much longer will it be before Ford realises it has to bite the bullet and create an HRT-style team, maybe for no other reason than to hang on to Ambrose and Lowndes? Surely Ford can see the benefits of Holden's approach- when the frontline falls, the next ones move up, rather than the spread resources too thinly approach.

They have to stop spending all their money on drivers and spend more on teams so that the teams will work together to beat the Tom Walkinshaw Australia Team Syndicate.

I think getting Lowndes at Ford may also have meant building up their image with the most popular driver in the series currently. Just signing him to Ford made big news everywhere in Australia. Even 60 Minutes did a feature on the whole thing. Now thats done, its time to make a team worthy of his ability, reputation and marketing power. Same goes for Ambrose.
