Mike 'Bean' Broadbent should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BARC @ Oulton 20th August

Just put our names to go to this meet. Legends on Fosters?? Two BMW races. Just seen the provisional timetable on BARC website and they have put a good meet on, plenty of variety to keep us orange 'uns busy.
See you all there

Just realised that this will be my first meeting trackside on Fosters as have been in assembly with the juniors for the last few years

But it should be fun and at least Island is safe from attack!!!

What about overruns? Or shall you and me go to Island out of the way.

Legends on fosters......

The Fosters circuit, I have been told is the layout that FFords get to thier highest top speed, unlikely, I thought, but apparently, with no Knicker chicane, they are flat out all the way from Fosters to Druids, and this means they get to thier highest V max than on any other OP layout.

Not a lot of people know that!

Top day - really enjoyed it. Based down at Fosters and experienced just about everything (apart from a Legend on its roof!). Learnt more from today than my previous 4 outings - cheers to all the guys there.

Thats a good day! Had my first biggie this season, FF2000 into the Druids out flag point at, according to the driver, 130mph. V scary and dealt with superbly by all. Driver ok, angry, but ok and all personnel on post unhurt. A few very near misses and some great laughs on post, a big thanks to all on Druids today for making it enjoyable!

C9/89 thanks for that, had a great day at druids, Legends 3 abreast, doncha love them.

As for the FF2000 driver, once he'd got over his massive off he was OK and said to me "you know when you've had a biggie and the JCB has to come out to pull the armco back into place.

Also a big thumbs up must go to his mechanics to get his car out for the last FF2000 race, and of course the magical power of gaffa tape.

Indeed it was a bit busy at Fosters today, Legend on fire, 2 BMWs trying to get through the barrier and assorted other pull offs, oil dressing etc

Thanks to all on post for their hard work you made the IO's job a relatively easy one

Glad Mark felt he learned as well I did as well!

See you all next weekend
