Who gonna have the best year Button or JV
I think we'll see some pretty close times from these 2 this year, no doubt Button can pick up some knowledge from JV but I think some of us and JV will be suprised by Button. I think it is too close to call, but I am shouting for Button all the way.

If JV has confidence in the car, he will win the battle

I think Button will do a good job, but it's unlikely he'll make JV look bad.

The only way JV wont thrash Button is if JV has a bad year, Button has a coming out year, or both. Either way I expect JV to come out on top.

JV should thrash Button, but either way he's almost certain to be out of BAR at the end of the season.

How could Button be better? I see no point in this poll.

Ow, Splinters!!
Define best year. JV needs a podium for it be decent year, and an improvement. If Chocolate get's a podium, he's been doing well, and we'll all be saying how good it is! |

JV had better give button a spanking-No doubt will button do well and impress, but if this is the new Honda JV will drive the car to many podiums- if it is the **** box he's been in will it matter?

Erm hard to tell - It depends if getting sacked by David Richards for shooting your mouth off and going racing in your managers CWS team classes as a good year or not...

How good the car is should have no bearing on his competition over his team-mate. They are still in the same car, so with his talent and experience he should give Button a lesson in F1 racing. I'm not sure he will though. The great driver's will excel regardless of the car they are in. I'm not saying he can win in the BAR, but he should make it look impressive. Time will tell. |

I don't rate Button. But then again, I don't rate Villeneuve post-1998. A has-been and a never-will-be, both collecting each other on the slippery slope to ruin...
I think it's academic which one beats who, neither have much life left in Formula One unless they pull their fingers out and show us what they're really made of. |

I'm taking the safe route and saying it's too close to call.
JV is coming off a shocker of a season but appears confident in the new car. He'll be more determined than ever this year because he may not be there next year. Button now has a chance to really prove himself against an ex-WDC and Richards has certainly been talking Button up of late. |

Jacques will kick his ass much like Ralf will do to Pablo at Williams.
Jacques is focussed this season and when he`s on it - no one barring Michael can beat him in a straight fight. |

as an Englishman i feel it is my job to support our best driver, although Ralf Firman might be going to Jordan so my support may change. anyway, Come on Button and Rule Brittania |

as it stands now;
26 reckon its gonna go JV's way 16 are backing the kid Button (including me) and 6 are saying its gonna be too close. So as much as we all know that JV should whip his but only 40% are betting on that. Personally i don't rate JV, and I do like button, so it warms my heart to see support for the kid. I reckon I can see a twinkle in buttons eye thats saying move over JV, let me show you something special. |

None taken, look forward to seeing results that don't make it seem so funny.
