No F2003GA at Imola
Arrrghhh. Too many breakdowns during testing this week. You can read all about it (if you read Italian) at www.gazzetta.it

The F2003-GA certainly doesn't look as reliable as its predecessor - the F2002 was bullet-proof.

IMO the F2002 is still the class of the field. It'll do Ferrari just fine in Imola.

Have to agree (reluctantly)with Adam, when RB hit the front in Brazil it looked like being a Ferrari run away,it was easily the fastest car on the track, pity the fuel guage was on empty.... .If its fine and dry at Imola the red cars will be hard to beat.

New McLaren is set for Canada.
Their interim car is doing just fine, no need to rush it. Ferrari on the other hand are having a dire time with theirs. They NEED the new car if they want any chance at a title. |

Its amazing how alot of folk think that the 2003ga will be the answer to ferraris problems but they will have an even bigger problem to contend with in the shape of the 2003 mclaren reports say it has over 900hp!

Does it matter if they don't have the new car out.
Ferrari proved in the first 3 rounds that they still have the fastest cars in the field, just driver error and reliability have stopped them from what would have been victory in all 3 races had they gone to plan. |

I agree that ferrari should have finished first and second in each of the races so far this season but they have really screwed them selfs and I think it matters that mclaren are bringing out a new car with this they will not need the aid of both ferrari drivers to make mistakes to keep them up front in the standings they will have the aid of better performance

It will be interesting to see just how quick the new McLaren will be. I disagree that Ferrari NEED the 2003GA - they COULD have won all three races so far, it's just that whereas last year they had a big advantage and some luck, now they haven't got either. It would probably also help them if their drivers - particularly MS - stopped crashing!

I think they've made the right decision not to sue the new car. Pace hasn't been the problem, as so many people have noted. They still need to adjust to the new system, and are better off to still have a reliable car (well, it works when it has fuel in it), and hope they can get to the front and pull away.
On that note, I think Ferrari should run light in quslifying at Imola, to try to get to the front row, and pull away, the way they did last year. |

I Think the 2002 Ferrari is still quick enough to give the team points that they need right now and I don't think they will risk using the new car untill they feel it is reliable enough At the moment, getting points on the board is more important than taking the risk of not getting any at all due to unrelability problems

Yeah, don't rush the F2002 still is the top car in the grid.
But watch out for the Macs... |
