Keep him, so that the BTCC can keep the excellent Ben Edwards!

Martin Brundle isnt a good commentator, but a good analyser of whats happening. He gives you an insight as to what its like to be driving the car, aswell as adding the occasinal humorous remark and some good commentrary. James Allen However just talks stuff and I dont really Listen. His voice just annoys me. Hes a Murray Walker wannabe, whereas Ben Edwards is a Murray Walker. If Ben got the F1 Job, ITV and Motors TV could get Charlie Cox to do the BTCC. Maybe, ITV could get a team of three to do the F1 commentary. It works quite well in NASCAR and other stuff. They have interesting discussion etc.

Thats what the f1 channel on sky tried to do bring a team of PROFESIONAL people in .... I watched it and enjoyed F1 since murry started to leave... but they cut it. I'd have signed up every year not to hear the cr*p that rolls of his tounge (JA). anyway i signed them both as i do suport them althou my litracy isnt good at the best of times.... but wasnt anything offensive.

Much as I don't like James as a commentator, that is a decision for his employers to make.
Much of what is on that petition is distasteful in the extreme. |

I don't like James Allen, and I enjoyed Ben Edwards much more on Screensport and on the SKY PPV channel. But I will not put my name to that petition asking for someone to be sacked!

TBH it would have made s** all difference in a race like yesterday whether it had been Ben, James, or anyone else for that matter...to some extent it is actually rather amusing to hear a fool talk total drivvel, especially seeing as there is nothing else to focus out attention on...
