RaceTime should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
For those in Brisbane Sunday Jul 15th

PINK RIBBON PARADE OF HORSEPOWER

Park Road, Milton
Sunday 13 July (12 midday - 5 pm)


The Pink Ribbon Parade of Horsepower will be one of the biggest public events in Brisbane this weekend and offers excellent media opportunities.




BRIEF TIMETABLE & HIGHLIGHTS:



8.30 am. Park Road closed between Railway Terrace and Douglas Street.
12 midday. Event starts - Up to 30 racing cars on static display outside restaurants. Welcome by Channel Nine¹s Bruce Paige. Opera singer Romano Dragoni to sing Nessun Dorma from the Savoir Faire Eiffel Tower.
12.20 pm. Guiseppe Verde choir - Italian male singers aged between 60 and 80, who have been performing together for 43 years.
12.50 pm. Sports memorabilia auction, including signed Wallabies jersey and motor racing souvenirs.

1.30 pm. Unveiling of Michael Schumacher¹s $1 million-plus Formula 1 Ferrari and $610,000 Ferrari 550 Barchetta roadster.

1.45 pm - 5 pm.
- World-first public demonstration of new Megamantis ³light-speed²
communications technology by inventor Peter Witehara.
- PROCAR racing drivers sign autographs at restaurants.
- The Cars That Ate Milton cabaret; 3 roving performances from 2 pm.
- Brazilian dancers, samba drummers, tango dancers.

I've decided that I'll totter into town for a few hours tomorrow and do some "work", and try and catch up with a few people before next weekend. I'll report back tomorrow night.

It was pretty huge....an awful lot of people turned up, and there were a lot of cars and things to see. Certainly, the PHR transporter (and what was inside it) drew the biggest crowds..
