Data Acquisition for Rallying (Surface Conditions)
Hey, just to let ye no, I’m pretty new to this site so sorry if I mention stuff that may have been previously discussed. I have been involved in data acquisition for mainly track cars and I am interested in getting involved in looking at data systems from rally cars. I am lucky enough to have a friend who will let me look at info in the cars in this year’s Irish and British Championship.
I was wondering if any of ye guys could describe (or tell me where to find) the road surface conditions for all/any rounds of the championship. I am thinking of conducting a simulation and I am looking for a round with a surface with dry tarmac and therefore producing very high grip for the tyres. Do any of the rounds have this requirement? Regards. |
