World Series by Nissan cars: Pons, Carlin, Epsilon, Saulnier, RC, KTR and GD. Renault V6 cars: Draco, Eurointernational, Cram, Avelon, Interwetten and DAMS.
As far as I know, new 2005-spec car is not available yet, only Jonathan Cochet had a chance to test it at Paul Ricard (I don't know his lap times, though). |

I've heard from someone at the track today that Robbie Kerr was 3rd fastest today - however he missed 1/2 a day because they had to change the engine and had to deal with winds gusting up to 60mph!
Aparently also the times are probably NOT truely representative as some drivers were taking 'shortcuts' on the circuit (in some places at Paul Ricard there are only white lines to guide the drivers) and while this fact would flash on the screen temporarily, a lot of the times were not erased from the timesheets. So I guess only the teams know how drivers did on what setup, tyres, etc.... |

Time sheet for Saturday December 18 ?? The major problem of World series by Renault is their very poor public relations. The cars are beautiful and fantastic but the PR is terrible.

Why would they need PR right now.
There's only 1 2005 car testing and they've released pictures of that test. Testing with the 2001-2004 Dallara Nissan and Tatuus-Renault isn't really interesting as it says nothing about 2005. |

OK, were teams manually clocking drivers?
Times seem to vary from team to team. |

Everyone seems to be talking about GP2/British F3/Euro F3 but there does not seem to be any news on which drivers have signed for the World Series.

I think it is possible that World Series may turn out to be a better championship than any of the others this year.

Well, with the teams and drivers being confirmed for GP2 so far, I expect it will be very good - but I think WS should be good to.
It's just Superfund which will disappoint. |

I read somewhere he was signing or hoping to sign with Campos in GP2. Will be nice to see him either in WSR or GP2 as long as he is with a good team.

I think it's quite appropriate that a racing series is called "Superfund".
I think F3 Euroseries will still operate below GP2 and World Series. It's position is at the top of the Formula 3 tree. Draco seemed very impressed with Will Power. Every chance he will be there this season, possibly with Johnny Reid as his teammate. |
