I guess that, Silk Cut, is maybe why Ford haven't put their new GT into any racing action...? i'm really beginning to dislike Ford!

well the jaguars racing in trans am use a stroked version of the 4.2 found in the road going xk8. the engine codename for the 4.2 is AJ-V8 and in the trans am car it's been stroked to 4.5 liters puts out 600 horsepower. the engine was debuted at the last race or the 2003 season with scott pruet and took it's first win in it's first race. so the trans am jag does share two components with it's road counterpart, the shape and engine
