Some of the more popular drivers in f1 in the past (as far as joe bloggs is concerned): Hunt, Berger, Irvine, Villeneuve - why? Because they are human, not corprate machines.
And lets put emphasis on the key words - DRUNK YOUNG man exposes himself in a STRIP CLUB. |

 Hunt and Berger are not top people because of something like that. Yes, they are not standard people. They have personality and it was/is good personality. However getting drunk does not give you personality, being different doesn't either, being controversial doesn't either, living the high life in Milan doesn't, none of these things do. It is none of those. You can be (er) clean living and have more personality than those. Some of these things are representative of some of the people we like and respect, but those different things on their own aren't what make them great. |

Perfectly summed up Adam.
Fans of Kimi like Kimi because Kimi is a RACING DRIVER. Not a drinker. What he does in his spare time is up to him. We as people do not interfere with our neighbours lives do we? No. What they do in their time off is up to them. Kimi may be a role model, but people are not THAT stupid to hear Kimi get drunk and expose himself in public that they now go out and do it themselves. And if they do, that's their prerogative, for them and their loved ones to sort out. |
