It did look a rather nasty thing to handle. Initially it looked like he just made a really good save going into 1. But later on with more onboards it looked as if he had adapted his style to his cars handling. He was constantly correcting. I imagine if the team give him the car he will definitely challenge at the sharp end of the grid, the guy is talented.

His teammate was complaining of a terrible car, too.

Well it was the same story today as it was for the whole weekend, a struggle. During the first laps of the race this afternoon, the car was very loose on the back end and had a lot of push. I was trying my best to keep the car on the track. I did all that I could in the car to make changes and when we pitted the crew made some changes on the tire pressures and front wing, but it did not make that much of a difference, the car was just that off.

i think Damatta really is a gem, as zanardi he got a bad apple to eat in F1, and look at him shine again.

Agreed, it's great to have him back and see him performing. There's no question that CDM had a bad F1 experience, but unlike Zanardi he can't really be critisized for lack of pace.

I have to be honest, I was starting to wonder about him. Vasser had pretty much outperformed him until Portland.
