Roundy Mooney should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Supercar
Gollop (was class of field last day out)
McCluskey (was the only one who kept close to gollop in final until puncture)
Doran

SuperModified BRDA
Proctor (the car in bellerby's hands last time out was a winner )
Bellerby
Ward

Stockhatch BRDA
Godfrey (I think the extra grunt in Julians 205 will just scap him by)
Green
Shannon (if there was a prize for the entertainer of the day last day out at lyden then Don would have been near the top. Watching him into the right hander at the end of the hill in front of the pits was a lesson in scary commitment to a corner. Flat out no lift.

Does anyone know if Christopher Evans and Helmut Holfeld are coming over or if Mike Manning's new car is ready?
If they all took part there would be a great super car field.

Neither of them will be at Lydden, there next British events willl be the RSS Masters at Blyton on September 18th.

Evans busy in Europe, Holfeld busy with work but Manning should be there probably entered late, so that makes 13 supercars...Puma is ready now.

Hi folks, I haven't dropped in for ages, but looking down recent threads nothing much changes.
Anyway after missing Pembrey due to work commitments and the car looking like a shed after the beating it took at Anglesey. The car is now looking as good as new and we will be rareing to go. It looks like its going to be a cracking meeting, what an entry list & probably a few to add as well. It's going to be a busy day.

I'll be there. Cracking entry!

Going to Cornwall Wednesday for a birthday on Sat, coming home to Shropshire Sunday morning and straight to Lydden!

Hopefully got most of the problems ironed out of the car now, and I think i've gained a fair bit of experience from my first two events, so hopefully going to get a bit closer to the back of the pack!

See you all there!

So, van is loaded and car is on trailer. Parked up at home. I leave for Cornwall tomorrow at 5.30, then get home Sunday morning, in order to swap vehicles and head for Lydden!

See you all Monday morning, think we won't be getting to the track till after 10 :-(

It sticks in my throat that I won’t be going to lydden, at what looks like a great meeting. Work commitments mean I can’t even go to Marshal never mind making a complete ass of myself in a car.

But the new Saxo will be out at Blyton with a clutch and rad that works (Unlike Ireland) I hope the armco will be strong enough.

Good look to every one.

As far as Manning’s car goes he was buying Tyres in Ireland for it so it most be somewhere near ready.

Phil.

Some rallycrossers testing at Lydden today. Pat Doran's Fiesta looked v.quick, but so did Terry Briggs' Clio until a clutch problem curtailed his day, should be fixed for Monday though. The stock hatch of Chris Langley has been updated to modified spec with a 2 litre engine, and ran faultlessly all day. Mike Sellar's car back running after it's blow up a couple of weeks ago. Add to that some stock hatches and a new rallycross Ka, all very interesting. Also, good to see lots of hospitality sites being put up for Monday.
