Wildtracks - British Rallycross Cancelled in Sept

I telephoned Widtracks circuit this afternoon to purchase some tickets for the British Rallycross event on September 25th and they told me it has been cancelled and another event has now been placed on that weekend.

If this is true (no official news yet) Why, it can't be due to lack of entrys as we are still three weeks away from the entrys closing date.

Im sure the BRDA will make an official announcement regarding this at Lydden on monday.

If it is cancelled then it would not be to do with lack of entries but the fact the the circuit owner has not made any of the changes to the circuit that were asked of him by the BRDA. Its too small to be an MSA championship round.

Events coming up instead then:
RSS Masters event at Blyton on September 18th, also last chance to win and get an entry to the superprix, also supernational racers there will be a qualification race to gain entry to event as well.
Just noticed first entry date closes 28th so better get you entries in asap!!
MDA/BTRDA clubmans championship event at Blyton on October 2nd.

Bucko,

What about the RSS event at Blyton sept 18th can you not do this one, I believe that the RSS organisers and MDA plan to run the new "Classic" modified class for cars such as yours and the MR2 and the Beetle of James Harrold.

Nothing listed for Lydden, unless you fancy doing the rallycross stock hatch races on the oval on Sept.10th. Only £40 entry fee, what a bargain.
