Roundy Mooney should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Erc 2006

On a meeting held in Paris on August 30, the FIA Off-Road Commission proposed the calendar for the 2006 FIA European Championship for Rallycross Drivers.

The provisional (!) 2006 calendar looks as follows:
06.05.-07.05. - Pista de Montalegre - Montalegre - Portugal
13.05.-14.05. - Circuit Maurice Forget - Mayenne - France
03.06.-04.06. - Autodrom Česká LĂ*pa - Sosnová - Czech Republic
10.06.-11.06. - to be decided - to be decided - Austria
01.07.-02.07. - Höljesbanan - Höljes - Sweden
08.07.-09.07. - Momarken Bilbane - Momarken - Norway
22.07.-23.07. - Nyirádi Rallycross-Pálya - Nyirád - Hungary
12.08.-13.08. - Duivelsbergcircuit - Maasmechelen - Belgium
19.08.-20.08. - Eurocircuit - Valkenswaard - Netherlands
23.09.-24.09. - Tor Słomczyn - Słomczyn - Poland
30.09.-01.10. - Estering - Buxtehude - Germany (°)

(°) Request was received after the meeting of August 30.

Other propositions/decisions made by the Commission are:
* The use of the so-called "joker lap" has been approved for the 2006 championship;
* Division 1 will accept non-homologated cars with a FIA Technical Passport;
* The FIA Off-Road prizegiving 2005 will be held at Köln on January 14, 2006.

All the above mentioned popositions/decisions are subject to approval by the FIA World Motor Sport Council on a meeting to be held at Rome on October 26, 2005.

Just Seen the above on a website.

Could anyone tell me if BRDA or Irish Championship have applied for a round in the past couple of years ?

What is the Joker Lap refered to in above ?

Does the statement about Non homologated DIV 1 cars mean the likes of Traceys 306 could race in europe ?

On at least one lap all the drivers have to take a different route ie longer lap

I think this means providing it was homologated and that actual car has raced in ERC it can still be used. I guess is so they get enough cars in places like Hungary!! Providing it meets the rules Traceys 306 is still homolgated for the ERC.

A Peugeot 306 is still homologated for the FIA.
If they build it to the Division I rules he can go to the ERC events.
It is at least ok till 2006+ ( see this link) in groep A so no problem. I think the car is not build to the FIA rules.

This is from Rallyracing.nl :

Division 1 will accept non homologated cars with an FIA Technical Passport.
Ex. Citroën will not homologate the C4, but allow FIA to give out this technical passport.
